But, I'm finding myself wanting to do more, as in personal projects. I need to develop more. I've learned a few things in college, like shading wich have helped my renderings a bit in my opinion. I've also been experimenting with charcoal and ink these days and might start experimenting with pastels. I just want to learn what each medium is good for and combine them. Like my last piece I did, I made the sketch in pencil, then inked over it, and made the shades in charcoal. It kicks ass, but it's too big to scan, plus, it's on the class wall so...
Now I want to make a couple of exercises for myself to force me to practice. First I need to figure out what I need practice with, and invent an exercise to develop that skill. I had some, but they sucked, so I'm going to invent better ones.
I need a scanner bad though, because I've got so much stuff in my sketchbooks and it sucks that I can't put them online to show them off and get advice from others on how to improve. This christmas maybe
